If you tuned into Tuesday night’s (April 17) episode of “The Voice,” then you caught a roller-coaster episode, with Justin Bieber teasing his “Boyfriend” video and announcing that his new album, Believe, will hit stores June 19 and two more competitors biting the dust.

Rocking a simple jacket, jeans and gold pendent, a charismatic Bieber was welcomed to the “Voice” stage with overwhelming applause. “I’m really happy to be here, and I think you guys are going to really love the video,” he told host Carson Daly of the “Boyfriend” sneak peek.

In the clip, Bieber is seen whispering the slick tune to a girl as shots of an icy realm flash. With a guitar in hand, the singer strikes a pose before a gleaming white sphere. Beliebers will see the first live performance of the track when he hits the “Voice” stage during the season finale.

Bieber also took time to jokingly chat with judge Adam Levine about a “supergroup” the two were planning, telling Daly, “Basically, we were going to do this supergroup, but he released his single, I released my single,” to which Adam replied, “I’m sorry I quit, man.”

Beyond the Biebs’ announcement, the NBC series also had some unfortunate news to share, revealing the two contestants who were given the boot from the singing competition.

Following the previous night’s “instant eliminations,” Daly explained that the highest vote-getters would advance to the semifinals, with the remaining set of duos battling it out for their judge’s save. And it was nothing but a relief for Chris Mann (Team Christina) and Jermaine Paul (Team Blake) when they were revealed as the highest voted of the week.

Shortly after the commercial break, Team Christina’s Ashley De La Rosa and Lindsey Pavao went head-to-head, causing Miss Aguilera to shed some tears. While De La Rosa took on Lady Gaga’s “Yoü and I,” it was Pavao’s magic that turned Mike Posner’s “Please Don’t Go” into a soothing slow jam and advanced her to the next round. Afterward, Erin Willett and RaeLynn were the remaining duo left to duke it out on Team Blake. RaeLynn tried to do her best with the Band Perry’s “If I Die Young,” but ultimately Blake favored Willett’s energetic take on Ike and Tina Turner’s “Proud Mary.”

If JB didn’t make the females in the audience swoon enough, boy-band phenomenon the Wanted riled up the rest of the gals as they performed their new single “Chasing the Sun.” Unleashing a crew of dancers, the five-member act also shared the stage with Team Blake. Despite being barely audible while singing the hook, the trio at least looked excited to be performing during the high-energy number.

“He can’t drink until he’s 21 in America, but in Mexico he can drink at 18.” Now that’s a party we wouldn’t mind crashing!”

It was lovely to see Scottish presenter Lorraine Kelly back on our screens this morning, as she returned to her breakfast show after a horrific horse-riding accident.

Lorraine had to have surgery on her thigh and spent more than a week in hospital and seven weeks recovering from the incident, which has put her off riding for life.

But this morning, she was back with a smile, and was particularly delighted when a host of ‘welcome back’ messages were played from some of her favourite stars, including Barbara Windsor, The Wanted, Ronan Keating and… Justin Bieber.

The 52-year-old was like an excited teenager when the Biebs appeared on screen and said: “What’s up Lorraine, this is Justin Bieber. I just wanted to say welcome back to the show, I can’t wait to come back to the UK and see you.” We would be excited too Lorraine!

The popular star described the accident to viewers, saying: “It was an accident. But it was really scary, very, very frightening.

“I was doing a charity ride and it was the second lesson that I’ve ever had.

“I’m obviously not very confident around horses and I know you have to do it from when you’re tiny.

“I attempted a jump – just a small jump – and I fell off and unfortunately the horse trampled on my leg and it was pretty bad.

“You go into complete shock, it’s only afterwards when you’re thinking about it you think, ‘I was so lucky’.

“It could have been so much worse. I could have broken a bone, it could have crushed my pelvis, but I just didn’t realise how long it would take to get better, it’s just taking so long.”

Lorraine added that she is feeling much better and thanked staff at St George’s Hospital in Tooting for all their help and praised fans for their kind words, letters and support.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have to be one of the most adorable “famous” couples on the scene right now, splashing their love around with cute public displays of affection, not to mention normal and extraordinary dates and plenty of Twitter photos and fun. During a recent interview, Bieber spoke again about his thoughts on the big “L” word and ended up saying a whole lot in just a few words. But was he thinking about Gomez?

On Friday, the “Baby” singer participated in a quick-fire question and answer session for Radio Disney’s Celebrity Take with Jake. When asked what true love is (talk about a deep question!), the Biebs thought for a second and then affirmed that “true love is important.” The pop sensation just added yet another “awww…” moment to his arsenal. There’s no doubt he was thinking of his special relationship with Selena Gomez when he answered that question, as she is such a part of his life and probably provides him with lots of inspiration for his music, too.

File:Justin Bieber, April 2011.jpgBut the whole interview wasn’t quite so deep. Justin Bieber also played along when quizzed with a few other more silly and lighthearted inquiries. For example, he pegged Kanye West as his most fashionable friend and his favorite song to sing in the shower as “I Will Always Love You” (another shout out to his main gal Gomez perhaps!).

As for a food he could eat for the rest of his life, well that would be spaghetti. The funniest moment was when Bieber was asked his fave type of Girl Scout cookie. He stuttered and said the “regular” ones. Guess it’s been awhile since he’s had a thin mint or samoa! See the interview, posted via Hollywood Life, here.

Justin Bieber may not be well-versed with the Girl Scout bakery, but he does love his fans and hopes that they can all find “true love,” too. And he thinks that his hot new song, “Boyfriend,” may just give them the motivation to do so! If that’s not the perfect plug for his new single, then nothing is!

A Christmas pledge from teen superstar Justin Bieber has raised almost $10,000 to help sick children at Auckland’s Starship Children’s Hospital.

In November the pint-sized pop star launched the Believe Charity Drive and called on his millions of fans worldwide to donate to 20 charities he had selected, including New Zealand’s Starship Foundation.

The foundation raises millions of dollars each year for the national children’s hospital.

”The Believe Charity Drive directly benefits charities that are making a difference in the world. You can go to [the website] and donate as little as one dollar, or even donate your time, because everything will make a difference.

”Please join me in our quest to raise millions of dollars by the release of my new 2012 album, Believe. I know that with your help we can make a change.”

The foundation said they hadd received $7852.43 as a result of Bieber’s album sales and a further $210.71 in donations from his fans.

Justin Bieber has always been outspoken against bullies … and he recently lent his song “Born to Be Somebody” to the soundtrack of the new film “Bully.”

But now, he admits that the cause hits a little closer to home than we had thought.
.
“I was bullied,” The Biebs told Showbiz Tonight. “Most people in their lifetime have been bullied at some point. I think that it’s about time that people start making a change. A lot of the time, principals let it go, or teachers let it go, or other students just let it go, but I think this movie’s really powerful and can help change a lot of lives.”
.
Justin, 18, didn’t get into specifics regarding the bullying incidents. But he says if you are a victim of bullying — or a witness to a bullying incident — don’t keep it to yourself.
.
“If you’re a bystander, too, tell somebody—because a lot of times, it’s just not spoken of, and you ended up—you end up keeping it all inside, and then it just hurts even more.”
.
Are you planning on seeing the movie “Bully?”

British band The Wanted may really want to support Justin Bieber at the London Olympics, but they’re playing it cool!

RumorFix caught up with the group on Tuesday night, and asked whether Justin should pick them over One Direction.

Today, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez may appear to have picture-perfect lives, but the two teen megastars say that wasn’t always the case. In the new issue of BOP, Justin and Selena open up about their childhood struggles — and explain how their secret pain helped their love become so strong.

Justin and Selena were both raised by single teen mothers and grew up with hardly any money. When she was young, Selena recalled being so poor in her hometown of Grand Prairie, TX that her mother would save up change so that they could drive a few hours away to visit their family and friends.

“I remember my mom would run out of gas all the time,” she admitted. “We’d sit there and have to go through the car and get quarters and help her get gas because she never liked to ask my grandparents for money.”

Even though Selena’s mom, Mandy, worked three jobs to try and support their family of two, there was never enough money to go around.

More than a 1,000 miles away in Canada, Justin’s mom, Pattie, faced similar financial hardships.

“I didn’t have a real bed,” Justin revealed. “I slept on a blue pull-out couch in my room.”

Justin and his mom lived in low-income housing for a while, but were forced to move in with Justin’s grandparents, Bruce and Diane, when things times got really tough.

Despite their hopeless surroundings, both Justin and Selena never gave up hope that one day they would become big Hollywood stars. Selena made a name for herself when Wizards of Waverly Place premiered on the Disney Channel in 2007, and only two years later, Justin’s first single, “One Time,” became a smash hit. The two up-and-comers began to notice each other at red-carpet events and industry parties, and eventually, spent hours on the phone opening up about their painful childhoods.

The two lovebirds are still going strong today, thanks in part to their similar upbringings.

“She has really strong family values,” Justin gushed about his lady love.

Likewise, Selena can’t believe how lucky she is to have found someone that understands the hardships she experienced as a child, as well as the down-to-earth lifestyle she practices today.

“If you’re in love, you’re in love to the fullest, and you just want to go to the movies, hang out and be as normal as possible,” she said. “I’m fortunate that I’ve found someone who has that philosophy.”
